收稿范围 | Published since 1979, Biotechnology and Applied Biochemistry is dedicated to the rapid publication of high quality, significant research at the interface between life sciences and their technological exploitation.* The Editors will consider papers for publication based on their novelty and impact as well as their contribution to the advancement of medical biotechnology and industrial biotechnology, covering cutting-edge research in synthetic biology, systems biology, metabolic engineering, bioengineering, biomaterials, biosensing, and nano-biotechnology. Topics of interest include, but not limited to: Analytical biotechnology including bio-imaging and bio-sensing Biochemical and bioprocess engineering Biomaterials, nano-biotechnology Genome engineering Metabolic engineering New method and platform technology Protein engineering Stem cells and tissue engineering, regenerative medicine biotechnology Synthetic biology Systems biology, Omics Advances in life sciences are leading to a better understanding of diseases at the molecular level. For diseases of unmet needs, the identification of molecular targets allows the creation of new generations of medicines such as therapeutic nucleic acids, proteins, antibodies, cells, tissues. In addition, increased understanding in the creation of novel designed biomolecules allows us to generate biomaterials and new devices in the nano-scale for use in health care, biocatalysis and bioremediation. All these provide major challenges to life scientists and engineers engaged in discoveries and their translation to practical outcomes. Turning a new discovery into a successful application has become a highly integrated, multidisciplinary activity, and Biotechnology and Applied Biochemistry is uniquely placed to provide an international forum for the dissemination of new information and insightful discussion by researchers working across many subject groups. |
